Many of us are celebrating seasonal holidays these days, so let me wish You all the best and send You our greetings!
We had a tough year, full of hard work and good moments, challenges and cooperations.
I want to share the results we have achieved with Your investments.
The software company, Priotix, which is developing our software platforms (Streaming Servers, Applications, Firmware … e.t.c.) make these days main deliverables, agreed for 2018, and will continue improvements in January.
Our hardware development faced now big issue from Samsung company. They officially announced about the discontinuation of Artik line production (You can find full text below).
As You remember we investigated and found out abnormal conditions on overheating months ago, after which started discussions with Samsung support and shared with you technical details in the previous update. After this announcement from Samsung, we understand that there were critical issues, that brought Samsung to this unbelievable decision, to stop their IoT line of Artik, and as a result, the impact for their whole IoT Cloud services and business.
Last days I had several meetings and discussions with suppliers and other IoT services providers which are dealing with Samsung to understand the situation. All of them call this very sudden and unexpected decision, as many products are now functioning based on Artik line.
As for our project, this is real “force majeure” condition, when ready for production design needs to be redesigned, almost fully, as Artik was chosen as the main component, based on which the whole hardware was developed.
Now we are looking for possible alternatives to solve this problem and continue the design process.
Despite the difficulties, we continue to work very hard with our full commitment to bring you a very high-quality product.
Our team is very grateful for the support we have from You and will do our best to achieve the goals.

Hi our dear bakers!
Again we here with our update.
These two weeks our teams worked hard, and now we are on the very important stage where almost everything works together. The functional parts of embedded components are fully working but still some minor improvements will be done and some components must be changed.
We would like to say that the demo version of our application will be ready in a few weeks.
The good news is that hardware – software synchronizations were tested and we are satisfied with the results and of course every issue will be solved before the production.
During this time we were also testing the synchronized work of the camera unit and the base, the results were positive.
Also we want to talk to you about the critical issues that we faced.
As you may remember, we started development of our own PCB, but due to the high priority of the campaign timeline, we chose Samsung Artik model based on its physical sizes and declared features. Also we chose Samsung based on reviews and global brand reliability.
During our testings we faced issues of overheating while video streaming, then we had to make precise temperature measurements on different surfaces using laboratory equipment.
As a result we found a huge difference between Artik CPU and its shield, which is more than 22 degrees of Celsius, and at some point system shut down itself.
There is no access to CPU to manage heat transfer, as the Artik is fully covered with its shield. We sent the measurements and detailed information to Samsung. Their support team suggested to redesign the Artik, but as you can notice in the pics below, it is not an appropriate solution for us, as the sizes will be much bigger than the old version has. Also the graphics provided show that issue is not solved fully and need new version production to test.
Next week we will continue collaborating with Samsung’s support to solve the issue on different levels, like hardware and software optimizations or change.

Hi, our awesome backers!
Here we are with the update.
We are more and more into production processes preparing ourselves for bigger challenges than we are facing now!
There was a glitching that appeared sometimes, we asked to open a ticket on this and a couple of days ago we've implemented and tested the solution from a vendor. The testings are ongoing and have positive results, which is very important for us in this challenging stage.
Our software team is working on the "rules" and "permissions" blocks.
In our last update, we mentioned the start of workflow with servers in different countries which are more than 60, so the preparations are done and for the next week we plan to start server locations testing procedure to handle streaming.
And of course some details from the hardware.
The mechanical parts were assembled. This is the next stage of testing when all parts of software and hardware are working altogether so we can examine new issues.
It is important to mention that our teams work together to manage hardware-software synchronization. We are sure it is normal some problems appear during this process, but the fact is that we find solutions for any single issue that evolves during this hard procedure, and the last part is very inspiring!
Some problems with IR were one of the issues that were identified during the synchronization. Our team found out that current IR cut filter did not work properly after a while. The reason was in a magnetic field which was too close to that part. We've found an alternative part which is motorized and is already shipped and tested, results are good!
Besides, here is a video of the Moon while levitating, you can notice some wobbling appears, we plan to make some minor changes in hardware to make the levitation stable. in fact, nobody could predict how the system would interact with the magnetic fields we used in the technology.

Dear Moon backers!
We are again here with our update. First of all, many excuses for this delay, all these time we worked hard to provide you detailed information.
Last weeks were very tough for our team. We have freezed MVP stage, and started testing hard-soft parts synchronization. These days we are making final testings and many issues are emerging, but this procedure is very similar to any hardware company.
The good news is that still we have not faced any problem that we could not solve! All this staff is made to provide high quality product to our customers and backers, so all we need at this stage is a little bit more time and patience.
Now some of boards are under a testing mode had similar issues, at the moment several tickets submitted and we are passing all necessary procedures with vendors. Two possible reasons are now under inspection: assembling process issue and battery type issue. Hope to identify the problem in a few days.
Our software team also works under the pressure. As you know we have orders from more than 60 countries worldwide and it is extremely important to manage all server issues and meet a policy of each country. These arrangements are done to reach the most secure streaming possible. Also you can find some screens, which show permission section of the app, hope you will like it!

We hope you are doing well!
Here we are with our quick update.
But, first want to say thank you for your patience and your support. Over the last year, you’ve kindly shared your time with us to help make simple whole home security a reality and bring the Moon to life.
At this moment we are trying to arrange legal issues and make it sure that all the stuff related our trademark is in proper condition. As you may remember from our updates we have had some problems regarding our company name. It was a challenge for our team and we decided to start a rebranding process with really cool guys we have worked with before and now we are very close to finish this stage with the new slogan, new company insight and name!
Also, we would like to share with you some news about the hardware. We have been working with different vendors and received different magnets. As a result, magnets are working with different effects, the first batch is stronger than the second batch, now our team is trying to solve this problem. We will provide more details during our next updates.
Just like the last two weeks, we’re furiously developing our software, setting up for hardware production and growing our team. This time our software team spent working on rules for the application, as it is the sophisticated part of the app. It is very important for us to achieve good user experience, so we are ready to spend on it as much time as it needs.
